What if a second-hand yacht could be restored to the condition of a new boat?
With Lagoon NEO, Lagoon has created its own factory refit programme, which comprehensively modernises selected catamarans and gives them a new lease of life to the highest standard. Rather than replacing a tried-and-tested yacht, it is refurbished in line with the manufacturer’s quality standards – technically, functionally and visually.
The process begins with a detailed inspection of the yacht. The structure, systems, electricals, propulsion, rigging and other components are checked against a comprehensive inspection checklist. The refit is then tailored to the yacht’s specific requirements – from engines, sails and electronics right through to the interior, power supply and comfort features.

Upcycling is a key component of the NEO concept: a large proportion of the removed components are reused or recycled. In this way, Lagoon combines extending a yacht’s service life with a more sustainable use of resources.
The key difference, however, lies in the origin of the refit: the work is carried out within the Lagoon/Beneteau network and in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications. Upon completion, the owner receives a 24-month warranty on the refit work and parts – a level of assurance rarely found with a traditional second-hand boat.
Lagoon NEO is therefore more than just a refurbishment. It is the idea of not leaving a tried-and-tested yacht behind, but rather reimagining it – drawing on the shipyard’s experience, modern technology and the ambition to spend many more years at sea.
The Lagoon Refit programme is not only sustainable, but also improves the original Lagoon catamaran, as known faults and issues covered by recalls are rectified by the shipyard.
